Stress MS: Reducing Stress with Multiple Sclerosis Helps Reduce MS Attacks and MS Symptoms

Finding ways to reduce MS stress for those of us that have the diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis does more for reducing our MS symptoms than researchers and doctors alike ever knew before.

When those of us with stressing out over things in our lives, this just adds to making our Multiple Sclerosis symptoms worse. Our over reactions to stress can actually set up our systems for a MS attack, exacerbation or a MS relapse to occur more often.

MS research is revealing so much more about how our over reactions to stress, for those of us with Multiple Sclerosis, can actually stimulate MS demyelination of our spinal cords and maybe even our brains, which can result in more frequent and more severe relapses of our Multiple Sclerosis symptoms.

Finding ways to reduce MS stress helps to calm down our over reactive nervous systems, which often is a result of Multiple Sclerosis. Reducing how stressed out we feel can actually help the body and finding ways to relax and rest can actually stimulate stem cells to be produced in our bodies.

This is a way for our bodies to start to repair the damage to the myelin sheath, which insulates and protects the spinal cord, in addition to starting to help to repair the Blood Brain Barrier, which surrounds and protects the brain.

I have tried many different ways to reduce the Stress that I have been feeling sometimes too much of the time, to reduce the effects of stress on my nervous system and help to reduce my MS attacks, that have been multiplied in how often they appear and it has been more difficult for me to find anything that appears to work for me.
