I bought a cooling vest recently, with extra ice packs and the ice packs don't leak and it works great! My cooling vest takes 4 ice packs, 2 in the front and two in the back and it does a good job on cooling me down and helping to reduce my MS symptoms, as well as with helping me to function better, in spite of how hot it has been. The ice packs stay cold for 2.5 to 4 hours (depending on how hot it is in the room you are in and on how overheated your body is. The ice packs are made of non-toxic material that freezes much faster than regular ice packs and it only takes 45 minutes to refreeze them in the freezer. You can also make the ice packs refreeze most of the way by putting the ice packs in a cooler of ice water for 10 to 15 minutes if you are not nearby a freezer. My cooling vest is red, but they do have other colors too. The website that I purchased my cooling vest from is http://store.coolvest.com/p-23-original-rpcm-santa-cooling-vest-red-white.aspx

I'm not sure how to make this a link, so you will have to copy it into the address bar on your browser. I hope this helps you!http://tamingmultiplescelorisis.blogspot.comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13019372302830483630noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-407693481428535204.post-40253711714815895502011-08-02T10:02:05.538-07:002011-08-02T10:02:05.538-07:00i bought a cooling vest... one of those with the i...i bought a cooling vest... one of those with the ice packs that is supposed to stay cool for 3 hours...the vest holds 12 packs...

i was so excited to get this thing finally! i mean, we are in our 40th or so day of triple digit temps... and high humidity to boot...

and let me say... i am so disappointed... the ice packs began leaking... after freezing, before even being put into the vest... a few of them had small tears in them... i didn't realize this until i was wearing the vest and my hubs asks why i'm all wet...

since i bought 2 sets of ice packs, i replaced the leaky ones... good to go.... wrong... the vest kept me cool for about 30 minutes whilst sitting in the shade...

i have had much better luck with the neck wraps...Sherrihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11844785407011196401noreply@blogger.com
